Birthdays

Caroline and Samantha recently celebrated birthdays. Our big Manthers turned one. She really enjoyed her cake:

Caroline had another successful trip to Build-A-Bear Workshop, where she obtained her new favorite stuffed animal, which she calls "Pink Loving Bear":

One nice thing about the girls having their birthdays so close together is that we could give them a combined present. It involved a little renovation to our backyard. We hope they will enjoy it for years to come:

Happy birthday girls! We, too, just celebrated birthdays. 3 of them (ugh, glad those are over)!

Laurel, your playscape set up looks fantastic! And just in time before it gets too hot...I bet your kiddies are loving it. We look forward to seeing it sometime soon!

That is one heavenly looking backyard! It looks fun and comfy for family and friends. Also, is there something in our genetic makeup that make Gooch daughters and grandaghters love to smash cake all over their faces? I'm referring to Megan's wild wedding cake fiasco. Let's just hope that none of your kids like to stick their toes in the butter.
