It's tough keeping things under control in the car. I don't have kids yet, but one time Kaiya, the dog, jumped out the window and ran down the street while I was stopped at a busy intersection. Another time, she rolled her head up in the window (well, she actually does that anytime the windows are not on child lock).
When M was 1 1/2 I was meeting a friend to give her something up at the Village Inn parking lot at the South Towne Mall. M was sound asleep adn since we were parked next to each other I just left her in the car while I helped my friend load her stuff. Somehow the door got shut and my keys were on the front seat. Since it was the middle of summer. NOt only did the firemen come, but the paramedics as well. She was fine. She sleep through the whole thing.
Oh my word is this the excitement I have to look forward to in Coppell. Watching my neighbors lock their children in the car. Ha ha!! Not funny but it kinda is. I'm glad the squiggly wiggly baby was ok. And mommy too. ; )
I miss you!! It has been way too long since we had a nice long chat. Your blog is wonderful. Have you been following Amy's blog? She is loving the MTC. Lets talk soon. Much Love oxoxoxo ITYW
Caroline is finally potty trained. She still calls her hair "Sassy" and often cuts it herself. The Dad is a still a huge fan of the English Premier Soccer League, and has resorted to replacing framed pictures of the children with English Premier League Stars. Despite Henry's picture being replaced by a picture of Steven Gerrard, he's becoming a formidable threat on the soccer field himself. The newborn is no longer newborn, but is still adorable. She no longer sits through church, thus, providing mom with three hours of exercise on Sunday. Though this family is cutting edge- some think the mom may be on the edge. With that said we are actually all pretty nice.

All of us mommies have the same, if not very similar stories. It's a tough job!
